went to see radiohead at the greek theatre at berkeley on friday.
managed to get tickets for $80.
i think that's pretty reasonable seeing that tickets went up for $150+.
went with stephen.
we were at the side of the stage.
practically 20 feet away from yorke.
i had someone in mind during the whole show.

cut fingers

so just an hour or two ago i cut the tips of my fingers.

like bad. like really bad. like really really really bad.
like so bad that it hurts to type and so bad that when i
wipe my butt when i go poo i can only use my left hand.

i was trying to take out the metal cage thing from an
old stereo i bought at goodwill and i cut the tips of my fingers
baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaadd.

it was so bloody/ugly/cool/nasty all at the same time.

it was pretty deep.

my skin peeled off almost like butter.
ew.

to tell you the truth it didn't hurt so bad.
but it does now when i touch it.

they still bleed too.

he's work is pretty impressive.
i like how they're crisp and sharp. the tones as well.

i haven't been shooting as much lately.
i think the last time i shot something was at the akimbo show some weeks ago.
which reminds me i have to develop that.

my camera has been lying in my room left untouch for quite some time.
i need to get out of here and grow.
grow. grow for the best.

lately i think i've been a pussy.
my mind has been cluttered about worrying about things so much.
i just gotta let go.

travel more and go through my ideas i haven't quite done yet.
that's what i have to do.
and i have to open up that "the work of directors" dvd.

i just have to remember:

so today i was up on hypebeast and i read an article on al cabino who
is started up a pentition for nike to sell the "mcfly" shoes that was
in back to the future 2.

i remember i was watching back to the future 2 a month ago
and i said, "how sweet would it be to own these shoes?"

well anyways he needs a lot of signatures in order for this to work.

but i bet if they do produce these, these babies will
sell like hot cakes and cost a good amount of money.

friday i decided to go to the de young museum with my art teacher
and few other people from school.

they've got some pretty good shit.
plus the architecture of the building is amazing.

checked out a lot of the stuff in the permanent gallery.
some mesoamerican stuff, chuck close, umm.. and well
i forgot the other stuff. they had so much art work up
it was so over-whelming.

one of the artists that i jot down on my hand before
it started to fade out after getting sweaty palms
and washing my hands was this artist alan rath.

pretty intresting guy.
seems to be into a lot of robotics and whatnot.

so i went to the art galleries over at 49 geary in san francisco
and michael wolf and richard misrach have to be one of my favorite
photographers now.

tthe post-war japanese photographers gallery are really good too.
kansuke yamamoto and nobuyoshi araki take great black and whites.
